Propaganda.Trump.Fake News Fake News Fakes News.To identify what is real online or at least credible is not only a dying breed but a dying talent as well. For starters, the saying “people will believe anything” comes into reality after reading this long, lengthy article. The term “censorship with noise” is something that sticks to me, as I think about the battlefields of Twitter and Facebook. The noise on both sides just consistently blasts all hours of the day.Coppins adds that Political leaders no longer need to silence out the opposing voices but rather scream at the top of their lungs instead. Trump during the 2016 election used the topic of fake news to discredit the media and assimilate with conspiracy theorists, political groups, and freelance operatives. Trump and his team plan to spend more than 1 billion on media coverage for the 2020 election.
The Advocation of fake news or twisting the truth has appealed to Trump and his team. Prior to the new 14th floor of the modern office tower in which the media campaign ran out of it all started in an unfinished basement with Nobodys in the Trump Tower. The new office that enforces the coop consists of heavy funding, and a dozen or so in staff , not to mention apparently a man in India paid to conduct data to find out information about journalists who seem poorly on Trump- but will talk about that later.
The man behind Trump’s media team is a man named Brad Parscale. We’re not going to go into detail on who he is prior but going forth Trump hired him back in 2011, and in 2016 Brad was the man behind The campaign online, guess who’s behind Trump in 2020. You guessed it! Brad wants more and it’s all thanks to his way of running the death star in such a way that no leakage can spill out from the cracks. Paracale uses a technique to advocate Trumps ads by the use of “micro-targeting” and in my opinion that is a great marketing tactic. Not only is it fast and effective you are also allowed to have a smaller audience with the same viewpoints as your product so the outcome is not only greater but stronger.
The question many people ask is what if I don’t want to see political propaganda, just because I liked something doesn’t mean I want to see it every single day. After the Cambridge Analytica broke out , Facebook was in the hot seat for allowing fake news to spill. Zuckerberg promised he would stop it but that’s a lie. Zuckerberg allowed candidates to run false ads on Facebook even though they are subject to fact checking. So if the media outlet is allowing fake news and propaganda to be spun out of control what does the viewer do. My answer is get the hell off of Facebook. However we live in a day where everything is online and no matter where you go people will always be speaking about what is going on online. I do believe there needs to be monitoring for fake news as a one stated in my prior post. The carelessness of information is not only in humans but causes mass hysteria — and who wants to live in a world filled with mass hysteria? Not me maybe Trump maybe Sanders hell maybe all of them ,it’s easier to lead blind cattle into a slaughterhouse.
Going further into this lengthy piece of reading I read that Parscale Likes to go on witch hunts for reporters who speak badly of the Trump administration or doing their job on discussing the Trump administration which ever you want to word it as. What Pascales team does is , remember the Indian man in India this is where he comes in. Parscale and his team Look up information on the writer to discredit them and feed them to the MAGA wolves online. As the wolves howl “fire him” , “throw him out” , people like journalist John Haltiwanger are felt unsettled and in jeopardy of losing their job. So across the world, apparently a man in India is paid by the Trump administration to convey a database entry on journalists who are on Trump’s radar to debunk and discredit their own following. Now I can sit here and discuss how terrible it is to look through someone’s past and bring it into light for your own personal benefit. However, the media has been doing this for years not only to President Trump but to fellow celebrities , presidents in the past ,basically any person who does come to media headlights. Do I agree with it, I think it is a genius business tactic though if you don’t want your personal life posted from your enemies; simply do not post information regarding yourself online, it is as simple as that. Trump’s team has so much power over the media and viewers because we allow it to we do not care if the truth is the truth we do not care if they are good or bad we simply want what we want and if it’s not in our personal gain then once again we do not care. So who is worse the man with the bad tan or us as the reader or viewer shouldn’t we care what’s going on ? What do we view or read ? With so many headlines claiming fake news what isn’t fake who is really telling the truth the truth is no one knows the truth everyone has a different viewpoint on what the truth really is.
I believe media coverage is indeed universal everyone has the right to speak. I could also believe this because in my home your voice is the most important thing because in this country it is a privilege like no other. I wish there was a moral story on how to use the Internet well. When people are given so much power people tend to abuse it. I’m not speaking about just the president’s online on Twitter and discussing influencers, Facebook groups, your favorite Twitter account, political ads, I could go on forever. The overabundance of information should allow us to convey a hypothesis on which we believe is the truth. However, the viewer has gotten lazy we simply Don’t care what is true or not we don’t have time to scroll down and read an entire article instead we complain on how lengthy it is we don’t care about history or stats we care about seeing someone fall and get fired the media isn’t the problem we are the problem. Although we cannot take back the rights and power of typing information from our fingertips, what we can do is convey a better message and regulate just a bit more. Just like in every story there is good and evil you cannot have one without.The other question is which side are you on. Without one or the other , the world would be a boring and dreary place, kinda like Cuba.
